The Batavia Society of Artists, Batavia, New York 14021
was organized in 1950 to encourage the artistic endeavors and high standards
through exhibitions, art demonstrations, discussion groups, and lectures,
to encourage cooperation and exchange ideas between members of the art community
in and around Batavia, NY

Each year, the BSA holds two, month long, member exhibitions at the Richmond Memorial Library in Batavia,
New York.
The BSA holds meetings with guest artists who demonstrate their talents
to our membership and guests. Unless otherwise announced, meetings are
held March - December at 7:00 PM at:
Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council
201 East Main Street
Batavia, NY
Dues are $20 single , $25 couple and $10.00 Student per season and must
be paid to remain a member in good standing.
DUES are due Jan.
The BSA year is Jan - Dec.

Kevin did a very interesting demo on Grid painting. It is a painting over a painting that has been taped off.
Everyone gasped when he taped over what was a great painting. He has done this technique with figure paintings and has received Best of Show in the
2007 Spring
Show.
