2010 Spring Show


Sean Walker being awarded the $300 Virgnia Mumford Scholarship by Mr. Michael Mumford and the Batavia Society of Artists.

Sean's paintings were displaced at the 2010 BSA Spring Show.

Sean Walker is a 1st year student at Genesee Community College. He was a 2006 Graduate from Geneseo High School.

Sean has had artistic abilities since he was a kid. He has spent the last few years developing this talent. His goal is to start a career in freelance art and eventually become an art director.

He is fond of realism and fantasy artwork and is also interested in Romanticism and storytelling through illustration.

Judges Comments on Sean's work: "One can see that this artist is serious about his work. He is developing a keen sense of design. His subject style and have fun doing it. Keep up the good work." Sue Weber

















The Batavia Society of Artist held their 2010 Spring Show at the Richmond Memorial Library in Batavia, New York from May 1, 2010 through May 29, 2010.

The Judge was Sue Weber of Darken, New York.

The Batavia Society of Artists encourages artistic endeavors and high standards though exhibitions, art demonstrations, and lectures. New members and guests are always welcome at our monthly meeting.
